Its really hard telling player scavs and pmc apart. Some say to look at pants/boots but some pmc clothes have very scav-like pants/shoes. Best bet is the short sleeve tshirts. I dont think theres a scav outfit with short sleeves. So if you see their arm, start shooting. Safest way for me as a pmc is to try and kill one or two then bait them into coming for me around a corner. Flashbang grenades do wonders to disperse them if you are cornered or if they are to well holed in. Fast explosion, low noise to not draw too much attention. And ensure you are properly equiped to handle them.
