Ruger security 9 problems

Love the Ruger Security 9, but the last two times at the range, the gun failed to hold open on last round, with both magazines. I havent looked at it since, but was wondering if anyone had any similar issues.

The manuals for each pistol explain the proper engagement of the safety. Reading the manual carefully is always advised when first owning ANY gun. New-to-pistol shooter here. I snagged a Security-9 a few weeks ago along with a M&P Shield 9. Both were on sale and the gun shop folks spoke highly of them for the price. You need to adjust the windage and don't go with the traditional sight picture (front sight level with the rear) hold your front sight above the rear sights to where the bottom of the front sight is level with the rear. A semi auto that has the slide locked back will have a loose barrel that is the way it works until the slide goes into battery then the barrel will be tight in the slide with very minimal movement.
