I would not "de-rig" the 1987 off the boat as the 77 uses a different wiring harness and trim system. This is how I would address this: 1) Pull 1987 power head and adapter plate. 2) Pull 1977 powerhead and adapter plate.1987 Pro-Craft 1780V with Mercury Black Max XR2 150hp outboard motor.
